Sandy Marie Bonny
Sandy Marie Bonny is a literary writer with an academic background in the earth sciences. She lives in Saskatoon where, in addition to writing and editing, she supports post-secondary curriculum development at the University of Saskatchewan. Sandy has published short fiction in literary journals and anthologies, including Grain, Prairiefire, EVENT, enRoute Magazine and the Danforth Review, and was featured in 'Coming Attractions 11', a showcase of up-and-coming Canadian fiction writers (Oberon Press, 2011). Her first collection of short stories, 'The Sometimes Lake', explores intersections of scientific and other ways of knowing through the lens of personal narrative (Thistledown Press, 2011); one story received a CBC Short Fiction Prize, and the collection was a finalist in the 2012 Saskatchewan Book Awards. Her first novel, 'Yes, and Back Again' was released in fall 2015 (Thistledown Press).
